At HAB, we’re always looking to create places with a sense of character, which have a strong connection to their community and context. That’s why this exciting opportunity that has arisen in the picturesque village of Holt, Wiltshire, was too good to miss out on.
The old Tannery buildings, which will be restored and redeveloped as part of the development, are already replete with history and character. The neighbouring Glove Factory complex of workspaces, event spaces and a vibrant café – with gorgeous swimming ponds nestled alongside – began the process of capitalising on the area’s industrial past and we’ll be working with them, and the site owners J&T Beaven to make the most of the opportunities.
We plan to build a collection of about 45 beautiful and sustainable one, two, three, and four-bedroom homes and HAB’s trademark landscape-first approach will ensure the scheme will be full of exciting features; including a network of landscaped routes and spaces to create a safe and attractive environment for cyclists, pedestrians, residents, and wildlife alike.
The contemporary development of mixed-use buildings will include new work-spaces as well as sustainable housing, and will benefit from the Glove Factory’s existing facilities next door.
As with all HAB projects, the homes will be designed with a choice of layouts for buyers to customise their new homes.
