HAB's Barns Road Project Wins RIBA Award

HAB’s Barns Road project in Oxford won the internationally acclaimed RIBA Award for the South region last week.

For 50 years the RIBA awards have championed and celebrated the best architecture in the UK.

HAB Housing led on the design, consultation and planning for the development, which was designed by the award-winning AHMM Architects. Barns Place comprises of 40 one and two bed apartments, with a roof terrace and communal ground floor garden. Homeless support charity Emmaus run a retail space in the building, and other community spaces include a children’s play area and meeting rooms.

The RIBA South Regional Award has recognised HAB’s community- and design-driven approach. Properties are still for sale at Barns Road via our project partners GreenSquare Homes, so ensure that you register your interest with them now to avoid disappointment.
