Following a positive planning decision at Lovedon Fields in Kings Worthy, ecological works have now begun on site with a view to launch sales in early 2016.
The works carried out so far include the creation of new habitat for slow worms and their relocation from the section of hedgerow along Lovedon Lane that had to be removed. The hedgerow was removed in order to create a safe site access and was completed before the slow worms entered their period of hibernation. Replacement and new hedging will be planted later on in the development to provide additional habitat for a wide variety of species, and as part of the Eversley park extension.
